CI5 I - X

CI5 I-X shows the first 10 issues of the Cancer Incidence in 5 Continents monograph. Every CI5 monograph issue contains tables with incidence data from each registry separated by sex, age group and cancer site, tables with consolidated data that enable comparison between registries and tables that show indices of the validity and completeness of the different contributions. There is a list of registries which indicates the issues the registry was included in and cancer dictionary that explains the use of cancer site classification.

All the issues and corresponding data (number of cases by age group, sex and cancer site) are available for download in PDF and CSV. It is also possible to prepare your own data output in their online analysis tool, which has two parts: age specific data and age standardized data.

Age-specific rates

To show age-specific incidence rates we have to select the sex, country/register and issue/time frame. If we tick the "Output file" box, a link to a text file (tab separated data) will appear under the generated table.

Age-standardized rates

For showing population-based data we can select the cancer site, monograph issue, sex, age group and which continents we want to include. The data includes the number of cases, crude and age-standardized incidence rate. Besides population, the data can also be presented by cancer site or issue volume (time frame).
