Incidence measures

Incidence measures describe all new cases (of specific disease) in a defined population within a specified period of time (usually one calendar year).

SLORA software makes available three different incidence measures: incidence (info), crude incidence rates (info) and age-standardised incidence rates (info) and in addition also the estimation of incidence for the current year (info).

Each incidence measure can be observed for any cancer site by sex,5-year age groups, stage and geographical area (statistical region or administrative unit).
